What’s included in your MLS add-on to the basic listing package:
Your basic package remains the same – see What’s Included in your Basic Listing Package. PLUS . . . . .
- 6 month listing in Northstar MLS
- Listing on all Top National and Local Realty Websites (Edina Realty, Coldwell Banker, etc.)
- Listing on Realtor.com
- Listing on Northstar MLS is for a term of six months (or until sold, taken off the market, or listed with a real estate agent, whichever comes first). The fee is $400
for a six month listing. Renewal after the initial 6 months is $150
- - the only obligation is to keep us informed of the status of your home sale either by phone (651-249-1879
) or by email (info@fsboStPaulArea.com
).
- Approximately 3 days after your initial order is processed, a Real Estate Broker, licensed in both Minnesota and Wisconsin, will contact you directly and make arrangements to list your home on Northstar MLS.
- Under the Northstar MLS agreement, if a realtor finds a buyer for your home, you will be required to pay a Buyer’s Agent commission. This commission rate is discussed and agreed upon at the time you set up the MLS listing and typically ranges from 2.5%-3.0% of the sale price of your home. By showing your own home and negotiating the offer yourself, you will save over half the normal commission (6-7%) – that’s thousands of dollars that remain in your pocket!
- If a potential buyer sees your home on MLS and contacts you directly without a realtor, you pay no commission.
- Northstar MLS is the same service used by realtors. You will gain access to thousands of potential buyers who search MLS looking for their next home.
- You will maintain control of scheduling and showing your home. If an agent sees your home on MLS and has a potential customer, they will contact you directly to arrange a showing.
